How to Crop an Image to Exact Dimensions (Pixels)

Why Exact Pixel Dimensions Matter

Many platforms require images to be exactly a certain size. A product image that's 801 × 800 instead of 800 × 800 can cause layout issues. Uploading a profile photo at 321 × 320 pixels might trigger automatic cropping. Precise dimensions ensure your images look right everywhere.

Common Required Dimensions

  • Amazon product image: 2000 × 2000 px minimum
  • Google Business profile photo: 720 × 720 px
  • Facebook event cover: 1920 × 1005 px
  • Twitter/X profile photo: 400 × 400 px
  • Favicon: 32 × 32 px or 16 × 16 px

How to Crop to Exact Pixels

  1. Go to Doit Connect Image Crop.
  2. Upload your image.
  3. Switch to Custom and enter your target width and height.
  4. Lock the aspect ratio if needed, then position the crop box.
  5. Click Crop and Download.

Tips for Precise Crops

If your source image is smaller than your target dimensions, cropping won't help — you'll need to resize up first (though this reduces quality). Always start from the highest-resolution source image available for the best result.
